Dr. Kennedy graduated from the University of Toronto in 2004. Upon moving back to BC, where he had grown up, he began working as an associate in his father's dental practice in Vancouver. After several years of experience and mentorship in his dad's 30 year successful practice, Dr. Kennedy felt he was ready to step out on his own, and he opened up Smile Solutions Dental Centre in October 2008. Despite the challenges, Dr. Kennedy's practice has been successfully growing over the years – mostly due to his high quality dentistry combined with his trustworthy and easy-going nature … and his fantastic staff.
When he's not wrapped up in the details of managing the practice, Dr. Kennedy spends his time at home with his family. He and his wife Emily, have two small rambunctious girls and a third baby on the way. Though he has his hands full both at the office and at home, he still finds time to practice his bass guitar, since he is the main bass player for his church's worship band. If he has any spare time after all that, Dr. Kennedy's favorite way to relax is with a good video game!

Cheyenne , who graduated from Vancouver Community College in 2000, had already had nine years of dental assisting experience before joining the Smile Solutions team in November 2009. Born and raised in White Rock, Cheyenne's favourite things to do are camping, shopping, traveling and walking her dogs. In fact, she enjoys walking dogs so much that she even took a year off from dentistry to start her own dog walking company! These days, she spends her free time with her family, (her husband Mason and their two children) and her own dogs — two boxers named Chopper and Chassis.
Teresa has been a part of the Smile Solutions team from almost the very beginning. She began working for Dr. Kennedy in November 2008, only one month after the practice opened. This was not, however, the first time she had worked with him, since she had previously worked for his father, Dr. E.B. Kennedy, where Dr. Nathan Kennedy had been an associate before opening his own practice. Teresa has thirteen years of dental hygienist experience, eight of those with Dr. E.B. Kennedy, and enjoys keeping up to date with all the latest technologies in dentistry by attending continuing education courses. She has also been a member of the Greater Vancouver Dental Hygiene Seminars Study Club for thirteen years.
Outside of dentistry, Teresa spends most of her time with her family – she and her husband are raising three children; son Marco and twins Julia and Sienna. She still manages to find time to go to the gym frequently though, and if she does happen to find any spare time after that, she would spend it cooking, reading, snowboarding or traveling.
Candice, a graduate of CDI College, had already gained five years of experience as a dental assistant before she joined the Smile Solutions team in the fall of 2011. Outside of the dental office, she likes to spend her time cooking, reading and singing in choirs and theatre. She loves baseball and has recently become a fan of hockey. Candice not only watches sports, but also leads an active lifestyle herself; in May of 2011 she participated in her first half-marathon — the BMO Half Marathon — which she completed 25 minutes faster than she had expected to!
Kimberley has been working for Dr. Kennedy since the beginning of 2011. She is a graduate of the College of New Caledonia, and, aside from living in Prince George to attend this college, Kimberley has always lived in or near to White Rock. Kimberley is very patriotic and loves learning about Canada's history. One thing she liked about living in Prince George was how Canadian she felt being in "the true north strong and free"! Her favorite animal is the moose. Kimberley has Chinese ancestry and is also interested in reading and learning about China. Besides these, her interests are reading, playing the piano, hiking, jogging and training her dog — a Miniature Australian Shepherd, who was born the year of the 2010 Olympics and thus named "Whistler".
Before coming to Canada, Aiste was a dentist in her home country of Lithuania. When she came to Canada in 1997 to assist her ailing grandfather she fell in love with Vancouver and decided to make it her permanent home even though her dentistry degree would not transfer to Canada. So she began working as a dental assistant, but in 2005 Aiste decided to go back to school to become a dental hygienist. Two years later she graduated from Vancouver Community College with five awards, one of which was an award for the highest overall achievement in clinical and academic studies. She has been working with Dr. Kennedy since the opening of Smile Solutions Dental Centre in October of 2008. Outside of work, Aiste and her husband enjoy spending time with their young daughter Sierra, and Aiste is really looking forward to sharing her passion for snowboarding, kayaking, biking, hiking, surfing, scuba diving, travel and all forms of adventure with her fast growing girl.
